Job Descriptions
- The Business Development Manager will pursue the company’s objectives in three main areas- Identifying and converting to actual sales, new business opportunities, generating repeat patronage from existing customers and maintaining value driven business relationships.
- Other related business development activities will be carried out alongside this primary objectives.
Requirements
- Minimum of a First Degree qualification in Marketing, Business Management or related field.
- Minimum of 3- 5 years proven experience in sales generation, marketing (B2B & B2C), and business development preferably in a Shipping/Marine environment

Responsibilities
- Prospect for potential new clients and converting them through robust network leveraging skills.
- Participate in industry functions, such as association events and conferences, aimed at generating business leads and provide feedback and information on market and creative trends.
- Use knowledge of the market and competitors to identify and develop the company’s unique selling propositions and differentiators.
- Initiate new products and services while enhancing existing ones & relationships.
- Work with team to develop proposals that addresses clients’ needs, concerns, and objectives.
- Actively set the tone, pursue mutually beneficial negotiations, prioritizing company’s interests in pricingsolution/service.
- Ensure accurate capturing and management of relevant data within the companys CRM or other sales management system.
