Job Title: Stors/Purchase in Charge

Location: Ogun
Reporting to: GM/MD

Job Description

  • To superintend, oversee and shall be responsible for all stores activities of the company [namely raw materials store and finished goods stores] and transportation logistics/deliveries.
  • Furthermore, he shall develop procurement plans and initiate procurement activities; ensure documentation of purchases /receipt of goods, plan and monitor stock levels, including the monitoring of raw material and finished goods output levels, and ensure compliance with all processes related to the sale of waste products/ goods/items.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Overall in charge of the co-ordination and administration of all the Stores activities [Raw Material Stores and finished goods Stores].
  • Control, supervision and management of all the Stores Sub –heads and staff.
  • Shall be responsible for the systems and procedures compliance in the Stores including goods and material dispatch and issuance.
  • Liaise with the General Manager on the company’s overall procurement plans and obtain all necessary approvals as may be appropriate prior to initiation of any procurement activities.
  • Processing of all documents relating to local purchases and the receiving of goods. Processing of documentations.
  • Oversee and plan the company’s logistic requirement for outbound deliveries.
  • Plan and monitor stock levels to ensure that orders are placed on time.
  • Process paperwork to ensure suppliers payment are made in a timely fashion.
  • Manage all activities pertaining to local purchases.
  • Monitor raw material and finished goods output to ensure optimum utilization of raw materials.
  • Carry out all activities related to the sale of production waste, scrap, and fixed assets, which are no more needed by the company.

Qualifications and Skills

  • HND/B.Sc. with 7 yrs. exp. In stores management or related field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Must be computer literate and have Microsoft office knowledge
  • SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.

 

 

Job Title: Production Supervisor

Location: Ogun
Reporting To: HOD Production

Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Create and oversee an employee training schedule that emphasizes productivity and resource conservation
  • Evaluate each station of the manufacturing process to ensure maximum efficiency
  • Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) to decrease the potential for employee injuries on the job
  • Inspect products prior to dispatch to ensure accurate labeling and record keeping
  • Maintain open lines of communication between employees, management and executives
  • Ensure all resources and assets are used efficiently and correctly
  • Supervise, co-ordinate and control production activities, operations, and workers in his shift.
  • Carry out daily production and material requirement plan
  • Ensure maximum utilization of the machines
  • Ensure quality output according to specification and guidelines.
  • Arrange proper workers allocation for efficient output and plan daily manpower requirement
  • Ensure set targets are met
  • Ensure proper records are kept
  • Ensure effective and proper handing over of the shift to the next shift supervisor
  • Carry out and ensure Data Analysis on materials and resources on the shop floor
  • Ensure elimination of waste and scrap in the shift
  • Maintain discipline in the shift and ensure compliance with rules and regulations in his shift
  • Arrange and collect materials from the stores and ensure efficient utilization.
  • To report faults on the machine to the Shift Engineer/HOD immediately
  • To submit daily production report/and other required reports to the HOD/Factory Manager
  • Should be computer literate and versatile in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Demonstrable practical and hands –on experience
  • To perform any other tasks that may be assigned to you by the Management.

Qualification and Skills

  • HND/B.Sc. with 3 yrs. exp. Or OND with at least 6 yrs. exp. In related field.
  • Previous experience in a supervisory capacity
  • Ability to create and follow schedules
  • Organization skills and willingness to assume accountability for plant practices required
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
