Job Title: Finance Analyst
Location: Lagos
Description
- The Company is looking to build a team of highly talented individuals that will utilize efficient processes and technology to deliver accurate, timely, informative and actionable accounting and finance information to senior management and investors.
- The accepted candidate will report to the Head of Finance and Accounting.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and management accounts
- Preparation of analytics and commentary on financial performance
- Preparing quarterly board presentations and investor relations materials
- Ensuring proper accounting procedures and best practices to reduce risk and ensure proper and accurate presentation of financial information
- Preparing and updating budgets and forecasts
- Preparing financial models and investment documents
- Producing commentary on financial performance
- Performing business and financial research
Education Required
- First Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related discipline
- At least one level ICAN, ACCA or CFA completed
- Experience Required
- 3 to 6 years of accounting and finance experience
- Prior experience as a financial analyst or staff accountant
Skills Required:
- Extreme proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to understand and follow procedures and work independently
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Expertise in use of accounting software for book keeping and financial reporting
- Technologically savvy.

Job Title: Head of Finance
Location: Lagos
Description
- The Company is looking to build a team of highly talented individuals that will utilize efficient processes and technology to deliver accurate, timely, informative and actionable accounting and finance information to senior management and investors.
- The accepted candidate will report to the Company’s Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and supervise the work of a financial associate or analyst, in addition to external accountants and consultants.
Responsibilities
- Design and implementation of an effective financial system with appropriate controls
- Production of monthly, quarterly and yearly financial and management accounts
- Production of analytics and commentary on financial performance
- Performing treasury and cash management function
- Overseeing monthly statutory filings with external tax consultants – PAYE, VAT
- Working with external auditors
- Production of quarterly board presentations and investor relations materials
- Ensuring proper accounting procedures and best practices to reduce risk and ensure proper and accurate presentation of financial information
- Responsible for developing budgets and forecasts
Education Required
- First Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or related discipline
- Chartered Accountant
Experience Required:
- 8 to 10 years of accounting and finance experience
- Chartered Accountant with at least 5 years’ experience at a top tier audit firm – KPMG, PWC, Deloitte, EY etc.
- Prior experience as an accountant or lead auditor for an agricultural products company. Experience in agricultural products accounting is very valuable
Skills Required:
