Job title: Accountant

Location: Lagos

Responsibilities

  • Prepare, develop and analyze key financial information to ensure that the organization’s management makes well-informed decisions to ensure future stability, growth, and profitability.
  • Establish and maintain financial policies and management information systems, as well as provide a high-quality support service by liaising with management colleagues on all aspects of finance.
  • Analyze the performance of the business and advice on how to pre-empt problems, adapt to changing circumstances and improve value.
  • Manage and reduce operational and production costs and implementing newer, more effective strategies.
  • Prepare periodic financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, budgets, cash flows, variance analysis, and commentaries.
  • Provide a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • Ensure spending is kept in line with the budget
  • Inform key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies
  • Advice on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions;
  • Analyze financial performance and so as to contribute to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
  • Negotiate on major projects, loans, and grants
  • Offer professional judgment on financial matters and advice on ways of improving business performance;
  • Interpret and communicate financial data to non-financial managers
  • Liaise with other function managers to put the finances and accounts in context
  • Monitor and evaluate financial information systems and suggest improvements where needed
  • Implement corporate governance procedures, risk management, and internal controls.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial/accounting roles with increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Must be a Chartered Accountant
  • Degree in Accounting
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to identify, flag and solve problems from start to finish
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized

Job title: Administrative Officer / Project Support

Location: Lagos

Requirements

  • 3-5 years’ experience in Admin or project support role
  • Degree in Business Admin, Engineering or related course
  • Use of Ms. Project will be an added advantage
  • Expert in Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent planning and Organizing skills
  • Excellent presentation and writing and research skills
  • Ability to multi-task efficiently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently
  • Ability to identify, flag and solve problems from start to finish
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic setting and demonstrate initiative to drive constant improvement.

Responsibilities

  • The ideal candidate would be responsible for the filing and proper documentation for the Organisation
  • Manage procurement and maintain the smooth running of the organization
  • Enhance workflow management and propose solutions to improve procedures
  • Provide day-to-day support in the planning and coordination for activities of the Director
  • Process and respond promptly to incoming communications (post, telephone, email, face to face), accurate message taking, copying and distributing information as necessary
  • Maintain record-keeping systems for recording and monitoring service processes and provide regular summary reports to operational Staff and managers to ensure that relevant updates and reviews take place timely
  • Support the operations manager in preparing proposals, handling logistics, ordering and maintaining stationery, equipment, and general office management
  • Ensure the coordination of the Organisation’s procedure by being a support and go through person to get the task done.
  • Manage dairy and arrange appointments, book meeting rooms, and conference facilities
  • Create presentations, make research and write documents in the shortest possible time.
