Job Title: Facility Upkeep and Improvement Officer (Civil Engineer)

Location: Lagos
Job Type: Contract (6 months)

Requirements

  • First degree holder in Civil / Construction Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Building, Architecture
  • Minimum of three years cognate experience as facility personnel or engineer
  • Knowledge of basic accounting and finance principles
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills
  • Well versed in technical/engineering operations and facility management at its best
  • Professional certification in facility management or relevant field will be added advantage

Job Responsibilities/Accountabilities

  • Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standard
  • Inspect building structures to determine the need for repairs and innovations
  • Review utilities consumption and strive to minimize cost
  • Coordinate building and facilities projects
  • Plan and coordinate all installations (telecommunications, electricity etc) and refurbishments
  • Supervise all staff facilities (custodians, technicians etc) and external contractors within the premises
  • Control activities like waste disposals, use of equipment and proper allocation of resources
  • Forecast, prepare and implement monthly budget for building use and facility maintenance
  • Develop and implement schedule for regular evaluation of facilities
  • Initiate interventions to solve problems in facilities
  • Put in place strategies to promote the organization standard and culture

Remuneration
Monthly Gross: N90,000
