Job Title: Copy Editor
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Fixing any grammatical, punctuation and spelling errors
- Plagiarism check
- Editing, proofreading, referencing and formatting
- Double-check that names, places and organizations are spelt properly and that facts, dates and statistics are accurate.
- Contacting writers’ sources and conducting online research.
- Making sure writers adhere to prescribed guidelines.
Requirements
- A degree in English or a related field is an advantage but not required; however, impeccable grammar skills and knowledge of style is paramount.
- Experience: 2-5 years.
