Job Title: Chef
Location: Lagos, Nigeria

Job Summary
- The ideal candidates would be responsible for setting up menus and preparing high-quality dishes, who will be responsible to delegate tasks to kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared in a timely manner.
- Also, he/she should be familiar with sanitization regulations.
Requirements
- Proven work experience as a Chef.
- Excellent record of kitchen management.
- Working knowledge of MS Office; MS Excel and MS word.
- A Culinary certificate would be required.
- Keep up with cooking trends and best practices.
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree qualification.
- Minimum of 3 years work experience.
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task.
- A great attention to detail.
- The ability to work under extreme pressure.
- The ability to make good food.
Responsibilities
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities.
- Modify menus or create new ones that meet quality standards.
- Cook food in a timely manner.
- Ensure appealing plate presentation.
- Study each recipe and gather all necessary ingredients .
- Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items.
- Monitor food stock and place order.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
