Job Title: Head, Corporate Communication
Location: Ikeja, Lagos
The Position
- We are looking for a Head, Corporate communications to oversee and be in charge of our internal and external communications, producing high-quality content that engages customers and building brand recognition for the company.
Job Description
- Propelling the brand’s image through consistent messaging and strategy.
- Liaising with the media to help the brand gain exposure in local, national and international media.
- Work with the team to generate new ideas and strategies.
- Develop and implement marketing and communications campaigns and strategies and monitor their success
- Define key performance indicators for each communications channel team member.
- Oversee the creation of marketing and communications collateral to ensure that it is consistent with the organization’s brand, including white papers, website copy, and more
- Write and deliver internal newsletters, messages and postings on all our platforms.
- Creating informative content, press releases, articles, and media opportunities to share our company’s brand, products, and services.
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies that build customer loyalty programs, brand awareness, and customer satisfaction.
- Plan and manage the design, content, and production of all marketing materials.
- Represent the organization at events and press conferences
- Liaise with all brand ambassadors and influencers, media houses and beyond in order to arrange story placement that can compete on a global level
- Create communication and marketing strategies for new products, launches, events, and promotions.
- Lead the brand and media team.
- Respond to communication-related issues in a timely manner.
Job & Skills Requirements
- Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or other relevant fields
- Must have completed NYSC.
- Must have had 6-10 years post NYSC Experience, working in a similar role.
- Proven experience creating targeted content is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an analytical mindset.
- Highly organized and exceptional communicator.
- Must be able to multitask and work well under pressure.
- Excellent organizational and leadership abilities.
- Prior Experience working with real estate companies will be an added advantage.
