Job Title: IT Support Officer
Location: Lagos
Requirements
- B.Sc Degree in Computer Science or similar field
- 1 – 2 years work experience
- Excellent knowledge of technical management, information analysis and of computer hardware / software systems
- Hands-on experience with computer networks, network administration and network installation
- Ability to manage personnel.
Job Responsibilities
- Reporting faults noticed on servers, desktops, and laptops to the IT Lead
- Ensure all logs for equipment and users are recorded and maintained
- Assist in the deployment of authorized software to client computer
- Creating purchase requisitions for IT hardware/software
- Providing desktop support to staff
- Setting up and configuring new laptops and desktops
- Ensuring security and upgrades are applied and kept up to date on desktops and laptops
- Assist in trouble shooting network incidence and root cause on network downtime
- Treating and closing tickets raised by users
- Induction of new staff both in Nigeria and Ghana
- Assist in preparation of monthly IT spend which is to be submitted to the Finance Manager at the end of each month
- Assists in Active directory, Skype, SCCM and exchange server administration.
