Description
The team you would join:

  • Sun King’s operation team covers all expect of our business in West and Central Africa for both partnership and EasyBuy, which have been growing consistently over the last 5 years at remarkable scale.
  • We are looking looking for an Associate to join its Operations team. The Operations Associate (Import), will work closely with the Operations team to ensure the organization has adequate capacity to build new business units and expand existing operations in the region.

Responsibilities
What you would be expected to do:

  • Keeping an inventory of all products entering or exiting the warehouse.
  • Receiving and documenting products for delivery or return.
  • Following up on inventory projections from the Head of Sales
  • Comparing the projections with the updated pipeline inventory
  • Preparing Proforma Invoice, Packing lists and other sales/export documents
  • Working with the relevant Nigeria authorities- Customs, Federal Government of Nigeria and the local government to ensure the company is totally compliant.
  • Follow up on SONCAP Product certificate provision at origin
  • Submit SONCAP certificate to CHA for Form M application
  • Ensure document compliance and appropriate Form M number
  • Ensure timely clearance by following up expeditiously on the clearance process as per the set SLAs with the CHA.Closely monitoring the CHA as per the set KPIs
  • Ensuring all third party charges are as per the tariff
  • Enforcing P2P best practice by ensuring that vendors are paid on time

Requirements
You might be a strong candidate if you:

  • Is comfortable and experienced working in a multi-cultural and diverse environment
  • Has a Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain/Purchasing and supplies/Business management from a Premier institution
  • Has 2 years’ cogent experience preferably FMCG in the in the supply chain line
  • Knowledge and hands on experience in warehousing and distribution
  • Ability to work with distributors, sales teams, and sales agents to ensure smooth distribution operations
  • Knowledge and working experience with a robust ERP / WMS (knowledge of SAP materials management module is an added advantage)
  • Excellent hands-on Experience on use of computer tools (excel /macros /v-lookup/charts /pivot table) for analysis for business
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work remotely under minimal supervision
