Job Title: Clinical Administrator

Location: Lagos

Job Description

  • For this role, you should have an understanding of the healthcare regulations and be able to handle medical information discretely.
  • Our ideal candidate must have previous experience as a Clinical Administrator and is able to complete administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner. Ultimately, you should be able to ensure our medical facility runs efficiently and profitably.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Monitor budgets and prepare reports
  • Maintain medical and staff records
  • rack medical and office supplies stock
  • Update patient health records, including admissions and insurance data
  • Drive, monitor, and achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully implementing a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
  • Create work schedules for staff members Keep records of expenses and suggest ways to minimize costs
  • Answer queries from doctors, nurses, and patients
  • Liaise with medical staff to identify efficiencies in the facility’s operations
  • Ensure compliance with current healthcare regulations
  • Direct, supervise and evaluate work activities of medical, nursing, technical, clerical, service, maintenance, and other staff
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of a medical facility.
  • Assist with employee training documentation.

Qualification

  • BS Degree in Business Administration or a relevant Degree
  • Proven work experience as a Clinical Administrator or relevant role
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations
  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Experience with administrative and accounting procedures
  • Familiarity with databases and spreadsheets (especially MS Excel)
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Communication skills with a problem-solving attitude.
