We are recruiting to fill the following positions below:

1.) Accountant

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos

Job Duties

  • Prepare tax payments.
  • Estimate and track tax returns.
  • Prepare necessary paperwork for tax payments and returns.
  • Share financial data with the accounting department.
  • Identify tax savings and suggest ways to increase profits.
  • Complete quarterly and annual tax reports.
  • Organize and update the company’s tax database.
  • Recommend tax strategies that align with business goals.
  • Follow industry trends and track changes related to taxes.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum of HND in Accounting.
  • 5 – 10 years of work experience.

2.) Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos

Job Summary

  • The engineer must have a design consultancy background, know how to follow up with the day-to-day activities on the project site, making sure that the progress is completed according to approved drawings and approved material submittals. Project management abilities are also required.

Responsibilities

  • Design & Drafting of Mechanical Systems including, but not limited to, Water Supply (Hot & Cold), Water treatment Plants, Soil & Waste drainage, Sewage Treatment, Rainwater drainage and HVAC, etc.
  • Contributing to overcoming technical challenges on projects and providing guidance to less experienced team members
  • Preparing well-reasoned and well-presented technical content for inclusion in key project documents, e.g. tender documentation, engineering designs, feasibility reports or technical specifications
  • Reporting to the General Manager regarding daily progress of work and plan for the next working days
  • Informing the Project Manager (Contractor’s Side) and the General Manager regarding material status on the site and preparing the requirement for the upcoming period
  • Communicating openly and effectively with team members
  • Ensure the proper execution as per the approved shop drawings (Site inspections are required)
  • Explain the work methodologies to the work and supervising force to ensure that the work is done as per the requirements
  • Design systems incorporating power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection
  • Take responsibility for mechanical engineering tasks, and perform associated calculations and analysis

Job Requirements

  • B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering
  • 10 – 20 years of experience in design consultancy firms located in Nigeria
  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, etc.
  • Proficient in the use of internet, email and Microsoft Office tools
  • Must be an NSE & COREN Certified Engineer.

3.) Electrical Engineer

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos

Job Summary

  • Design & Drafting of Electrical Systems including, but not limited to, Medium and Low Voltage Power, Lighting, Low Current System, etc.
  • Contributing to overcoming technical challenges on projects and providing guidance to less experienced team members
  • Preparing well-reasoned and well-presented technical content for inclusion in key project documents, e.g., tender documentation, engineering designs, feasibility reports or technical specification
  • Design systems incorporating power distribution, grounding, lighting, control systems, and equipment specification and selection.
  • Take responsibility for electrical engineering tasks, and perform associated calculations and analysis
  • Carry out/Supervise all relevant testing before commissioning and handing over
  • Reporting to the General Manager regarding daily progress of work and plan for the next working days
  • Informing the Project Manager (Contractor’s Side) and the General Manager regarding material status on the site and preparing the requirement for the upcoming period
  • Supervise the Contractor’s evaluation done for electrical engineering/construction matters
  • Inspect received material in the site

Requirements

  • B.Sc in Electrical Engineering
  • 7 – 10 years of experience in design consultancy firms located in Nigeria
  • Proficient in use of AutoCAD, Revit, Dialux, etc.
  • Proficient in the use of internet, email and Microsoft Office tools

4.) Quantity Surveyor

Job Location: Egbeda, Lagos

Description

  • We are searching for a reliable Quantity Surveyor who will manage the contractual and financial side of our construction projects
  • He/she will manage the costs of construction projects as well as help to ensure that our projects are completed within budget.

Job Duties

  • Maintain and implement construction preform / budget for each project.
  • Negotiate pricing contracts with subcontractors and suppliers, research new materials for design and cost savings, and develop and implement new purchasing strategies to deliver ongoing cost reductions and process simplification.
  • Create scopes of work, forecast upcoming demand, assist in settling invoice or contract disputes, and handle change order requests.
  • Issue purchase orders for procurement and expedition of materials and equipment for jobs.
  • Ensure compliance with project budgets and provide analysis of deviations, ensure accurate takeoffs to ensure budgets are accurate.
  • Maintain subcontractor and supplier insurance policies; assist in ensuring awareness and company compliance to all building codes and local construction guidelines and maintain company quality control program.
  • Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers, establish new relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure adequate resources for all projects and to continually improve pricing and quality of work; meet subcontractors and suppliers on-site as necessary.
  • Leverage technology, safety measures, and information sharing to increase productivity and profitability.
  • Maintain sub/supplier information on company online management systems, and manage materials/equipment inventory.
  • Negotiate and agree on contracts, monitoring the quality of service provided.
  • Give presentations about market analysis and possible growth.
  • Develop a purchasing strategy.
  • Produce reports and statistics using computer software.
  • Prepares monthly budget for all site works from site requisitions.
  • Process payments and invoices.
  • Keep contract files and use them as a reference for the future.
  • Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
  • Liaise with all site supervisors and managers.

Qualification and Background

  • A Degree / HND in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Management or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Sound knowledge of construction.
  • A good working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Good negotiation skills.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills.
  • Teamwork.
  • Ability to organize, plan and strategize.
