Job Title: Senior Software Engineer

Location: Lagos

Role Overview

• We are currently looking to recruit an experienced Senior .Net Developer for our Nigeria Office, to join our development team to design, develop and maintain software solutions.

Job  Duties and Responsibilities

• Upgrading existing .NET websites and applications.
• Analyzing system requirements and delegating development tasks.
• Developing technical specifications.
• Writing scalable code for .NET software applications.
• Reviewing and debugging .NET applications.
• Providing support for junior developers.
• Deploying functional websites, programs, and applications.
• Drafting software and application operating procedures.
• Develop software in approved designs and/or requirements, adhering to all relevant coding standards and code quality.
• Contribute to software specifications and architecture design for new functionality, improvements, or fixes.
• Create and test software prototypes.
• Manage other developers in the Nigeria development team.

Qualification abd Related Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
• Minimum of 7 years of software development experience
• Proficient in C#, Visual Studio and working with web services
• Strong experience with ASP.NET MVC, Web API, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/jQuery, XML, and JSON
• Strong experience with SQL Server and database design
• Strong Object-Oriented design and development skills
• Experience building REST web services
• Experience with Entity Framework and WPF is preferred
• Knowledge of automated testing and Azure DevOps is a plus also with Xamarin
• Knowledge of domain driven design, software design patterns and design principles are a plus
• Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Highly detail oriented
• High-level managerial skills.
• Ability to project manage.
• Excellent problem-solving skills
