We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accountant

Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Manage all accounting transactions
  • Prepare budget forecasts
  • Publish financial statements in time
  • Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
  • Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
  • Ensure timely bank payments
  • Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
  • Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
  • Report on the company’s financial health and liquidity
  • Audit financial transactions and documents
  • Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
  • Comply with financial policies.

Requirements

  • Work experience as an Accountant
  • Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software like FreshBooks and QuickBooks
  • Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
  • Experience with general ledger functions
  • Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
  • BSc in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree
  • Additional certification (CPA or CMA) is a plus.

Job Title: Office Secretary (Female)

Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Organizes work by reading and routing correspondence; collecting information; initiating telecommunications.
  • Maintains department schedule by maintaining calendars for department personnel; arranging meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
  • Completes requests by greeting customers, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Prepares reports by collecting information.
  • Maintains office supplies inventory by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed supplies; placing and expediting orders for supplies; verifying receipt of supplies.
  • Keeps equipment operational by following manufacturer instructions and established procedures.
  • Secures information by completing database backups.
  • Provides historical reference by utilizing filing and retrieval systems.
  • Maintains technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reading secretarial publications.

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be above 18 years of age
  • Have relevant qualifications – Minimum of BSc / HND in relevant field
  • Must be resident in Yenagoa Bayelsa State
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English language
  • At least 3-5 years of experience in relevant roles

Job Title: Driver

Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa

Basic Qualifications

  • Must be above 18 years of age
  • Possess valid driver’s licence
  • Ability to understand interpret roads signs
  • Have relevant qualifications – Minimum of SSCE
  • Knowledge of Abuja routes and its environs.
  • Ability to read, speak and understand English language
  • At least 5 years of driving experience.

Job Title: Mechanic / Marine Engineer

Location: Yenagoa, Bayelsa
Employment Type: Full-time

Automotive Mechanic Duties & Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers to obtain information about the problems they’re experiencing with their cars.
  • Examine various systems within cars to diagnose problems. They run computerized diagnostic tests to help them identify components that might be malfunctioning.
  • Remove parts that are worn or not operating properly and replace them with new or used parts.
  • Perform routine maintenance like oil, filter, and belt changes according to schedules established by various car manufacturers.
  • Explain repairs to customers and provide estimates for unanticipated repairs.
  • Pitch optional repairs or preventative maintenance to customers to generate additional revenue for the shop, although this can depend upon the employer.
  • Keep detailed records on all work performed.

Requirements

  • Education: Options for mechanics include an associate’s degree in Automotive Technology or a related field. They should ideally hold a high school or vocational training program diploma. A college degree is not generally required.
  • Continuing Education: Mechanics must be willing to engage in ongoing learning to keep pace with changing technology as new models of cars are released with ever-evolving features.
