The MeatLockers Cold Store is a frozen food store that sells frozen foods and grills in Lagos State, Nigeria.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Accounts Officer

Location: Bariga, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

• The role holder is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the cold room and kitchen, making sure it runs smoothly and effectively and is responsible for the day-to-day financial transactions including invoice processing, daily bookkeeping records, billing, and tracking business expenses.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Candidates should posses a minimum of HND.
• 1 – 2 years proven work experience in a similar role.
• Experience working at a cold room store is an advantage
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Customer management abilities
• Must be assertive with good leadership skills
• Great analytical skills
• Ability to work on weekends
• Candidate must reside within Bariga, Yaba or Shomolu axis

Duties and Responsibilities

• Post income receipts, bank transactions, and suppliers invoices on Quick Books Accounting Software.
• Conduct monthly stock count and reconcile the accounting record
• Billing and tracking business expenses
• Manage receivables and payable accounts
• Conduct sales analysis
• Contact clients about invoices that are past due
• Handle general account queries and check invoices for inaccuracies
• Analyze everyday financial activities and provide advice and guidance to management on future financial plans.
• Deliver excellent service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Motivate the sales team to meet sales objectives by training and mentoring staff.
• Create business strategies to attract new customers, expand store traffic, and enhance profitability.
• Train, and oversee new staff.
• Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional manner.
• Handle social media accounts
• Performs other duties as assigned

Salary

• N40,000 – N80,000 monthly.
